The Dallara company was founded by its current President, Eng. Giampaolo Dallara, who wanted to nourish his dream of working in the field of racing cars after his previous experiences in Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and De Tomaso, and in 1972 established the “Dallara automobili da competizione” (Dallara racing cars) in his birthplace Varano de Melegari (Parma).
